Qiagen : Excellent finish to the year, first 2022 guidance a good floor
>Both non-Covid and Covid-related products strong in Q4 - Sales came in at $ 582m, +2% y-o-y against a strong base, even 4% better than our forecast and 10% above the consensus (FactSet). Both Covid-related sales ($ 183m vs our estimate of $ 170m; well above $ 159m in Q3) and non-Covid related sales ($ 400m vs our estimate $ 388m; +8% y-o-y against a high base) were strong. Almost all key product areas were above our forecasts. We in particular note the strong perform...Qiagen is provider of Sample to Insight solutions to transform biological materials into valuable molecular insights. Co.'s sample technologies process DNA, RNA and proteins from blood, tissue and other materials. Assay technologies make these biomolecules visible and ready for analysis.
