SCOR : Excellent results in Q3 and stronger solvency ratio
>Results well ahead of expectations - Scor released its Q3 2020 results on Friday. Premiums amounted to € 4.088bn, up 1.1% reported and 5.0% on constant currencies (+6.6% in P&C, +3.8% in life reinsurance). Operating results came in at € 180m (-3.2%), well ahead of expectations (consensus € 73m, our forecast € 44m), thanks to: an excellent combined ratio in P&C, a higher than expected technical margin in life reinsurance, a drop in holding company costs and higher tha...SCOR is a holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Co. is engaged mainly in reinsurance. Its customers are insurers and large corporations.
