Last week, the European Council approved the CSRD and CS3D omnibus package, and EU Member States must now transpose it. Schneider Electric published the results of its 2021–2025 sustainability programme. WWF released the NAT40 index and found that CAC 40 companies show limited maturity on nature-related issues. Stakeholders continued to comment on carbon markets: Italy called for a suspension of the EU ETS “until a thorough overhaul,” while BusinessEurope raised concerns about EU competitiveness ahead of the EU ETS review. After suspending its activities in 2025, the Net Zero Asset Managers initiative was officially relaunched with revised commitments. Air France-KLM and Accor will see the coupons on their sustainability-linked bonds increase after missing their climate targets. On the social front, recent data show no significant productivity gains linked to AI. The OECD published its due diligence guidance for responsible AI. On governance, Dassault Systèmes announced the departure of its Chair and the return to a combined Chair/CEO structure, while Teleperformance announced the appointment of Jorge Amar as CEO and the addition of four new members to its board of directors.
