Last week, we initiated Worldline's ESG coverage with a Not Recommended ESG rating. An academic study showed that SFDR disclosures had no measurable impact on European fund flows. The European Union and India concluded a free trade agreement and adopted a strategic roadmap, with potentially significant implications for sustainability. In controversy news, we revisit Capgemini's activities with ICE in the United States. Airbus and its subsidiary MBDA were sued by shareholders and NGOs. Mozambique LNG (TotalEnergies' joint venture) announced the full resumption of all its onshore and offshore operations in the country. In environmental news, Cleantech Europe called on the EU to integrate binding "Made in Europe" criteria into the IAA. According to the ICCT, automakers remain on track to meet CO2 targets thanks to increased BEV penetration and the benefits of pooling. According to ACEA, fully electric vehicles accounted for 17.6% of new car registrations in Europe in 2025, and 22.6% in December (+50% year-over-year). The North Sea countries have committed, through the Hamburg Declaration, to jointly develop 100 GW of capacity. On the social side, Deutsche Bank plans a further reduction in staff across its branch network, justified in particular by the digitalization of its services. In governance, Wells Fargo has decided to no longer use ISS for its votes at general meetings.
