Last week, we published 2 flash notes following the Commission's proposal for a revision of the EU taxonomy and an action plan for the automotive sector. In a 3rd flash note, we look back at the conclusions of the 2nd round of COP16 negotiations. SPIE published its CSR roadmap for 2030: we reiterate our Best-in-class ESG opinion. The People's Pension has chosen Amundi and Invesco to manage £ 28bn of assets previously managed by State Street. On the social side, the European Commission announced the creation of the "Union of Skills", an initiative supporting the development of human capital. DHL plans to cut 8,000 jobs in Germany by the end of 2025. Michelin published an "end of negotiation report" following discussions with unions after the announcements of the closure of the Vannes and Cholet plants. On the governance side, Bayer is seeking shareholder approval for a 35% capital increase in case it needs funds for litigation in the United States. According to press reports, the company could stop selling glyphosate in the United States if it does not have stronger legal protections. Glass Lewis will continue to consider diversity at US AGMs, but plans to be clearer on the counterargument to critical voting recommendations.
