At the EU level, the EPP is reportedly seeking support from the right to adopt an aggressive simplification of the CS3D and CSRD within the omnibus bill, according to Politico. The Council of the EU adopted its position on amending the European Climate Law, introducing a binding target of reducing net greenhouse gas emissions by 90% by 2040 vs 1990. The IEA previewed the key energy future scenarios it will study in its World Energy Outlook, scheduled for publication on Wednesday, November 12. On the social side, Soitec is reportedly considering partial unemployment measures affecting the 1,800 employees at its Bernin site for an initial period of six months. Regarding governance, Unilever issued a statement concerning the shareholder vote on the remuneration report. A report by a short seller alleges that the practices of HelloFresh's management prioritize personal enrichment and amplify the risk for shareholders.
