The past week has been marked by a large number of votes in the European Parliament on texts with high ESG-relevance. On Wednesday 8 June, 8 texts of the 'Fit for 55' package (out of 14 in total) were voted on: most were approved. The session started with the surprising rejection of the text on the EU ETS, triggering the postponement of the votes on CBAM and the Social Climate Fund.
