Munich Re has exited four climate initiatives (NZAOA, CA100+, NZAM, IIGCC), citing "conflicting regulatory requirements and related legal uncertainty" in particular. In Nice, the United Nations Ocean Conference was held from 9 to 13 June 2025, bringing together governments, scientists and economic actors to discuss the challenges of ocean governance and the protection of marine biodiversity. On the social side, Stellantis has launched a voluntary redundancy plan in Italy. Regarding governance, an academic study recommends that investors integrate the notion of internal CEO approval into their ESG analyses. The crash of a Boeing 787 operated by Air India has caused the death of at least 269 people, raising potential product safety controversies for Safran, MTU and Leonardo.
