US: consequences of a minimum hourly wage of $ 15

Wages are not a price like any other. The existence of job contracts creates downward rigidity and tends to curb upward adjustments. Is this still the case after a pandemic that has had the effect of: a) raising the reservation wage for the unemployed (the minimum to accept a job) and b) causing labour shortages, especially in sectors characterised by low-skilled and low-paid jobs?
