US oil sector experiences existential crisis

With the confinement of a large part of the global economy, demand for oil is plummeting. Prices have fallen lower than during the oil countershock of 2014-2015. The shale sector survived that period but emerged even less profitable and ever more indebted. The current crisis could be fatal for US oil producers.
