Vinci : Another year of growth in prospect
>Confident for 2019 - As we discussed in our note of 6 February, Vinci’s 2018 annual results were close to consensus forecasts. At the meeting following the earnings report, we found the group’s management fairly confident on 2019 momentum across all businesses:Even though the start of the year continues to be disrupted by the yellow vests protests, the group expects growth in motorway traffic to be in line with GDP growth in 2019 (barring major events). Through its subsidiaries, Co. is engaged in five divisions comprising of: the Building division which provides retail solutions including construction and fit-out in both the retail and commercial sectors; the Civil Engineering division; the Air division which provides program management, engineering and construction services to customers with airport infrastructure requirements; the Technology division; and the VINCI Facilities division which provides facilities management, repair and maintenance and small works in both the private and public sectors.
