Peter Spiller has been an integral part of the management team for Capital Gearing Trust (CGT) since April 1982. Over that period, the trust’s share price has risen two hundredfold (from 21.25p to over £42.50), which is a remarkable achievement. We believe only one other trust, Rights & Issues, can match this and for a considerable period that trust’s capital appreciation was amplified by a split capital structure.
