Yesterday, X5 released expectedly modest 4Q 19 IFRS results, which were in line with our undemanding expectations on revenue and EBITDA, but weaker than we expected on net income due to an abnormally high effective tax rate and higher than anticipated net finance costs. The company held a conference call following the results publication during which it highlighted the impact of COVID-19 on its operations so far, as well as sharing some of its goals for this and upcoming years. The companys Supervisory Board proposed to pay out RUB 110.47 per share in dividends with the ex-dividend date set for 23 May.X5 Retail Group is a holding company. The main activity of Co. is the development and operation of grocery retail stores. Co. operates a retail chain of soft-discount, supermarket and hypermarket stores under the brand names "Pyaterochka", "Perekrestok" and "Karusel" in major population centres in Russia, including but not limited to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhniy Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Kazan, Samara, Lipetsk, Chelyabinsk, Perm, Ekaterinburg and Kiev, Ukraine.
