U.S. Job Creation Remained Strong In July

​Job creation remained solid at the start of the third quarter and continues to run well ahead of the likely sustainable pace of labor force growth over time. This report should leave the Fed on track to announce the beginning of balance sheet normalization at the September FOMC meeting, while the CPI report for July on Friday next week will be more important for determining the path of the fed funds rate.
