AENA: +5.3% INCREASE IN AIRLINE CAPACITY FOR WINTER 2022-23 VS. 2019 (ANÁLISIS BANCO SABADELL)
AENA has just released the airlines’ capacity schedules for winter 2022-23, which shows a +5.3% increase vs. winter 2019-20 (adjusted for the last two weeks of March’20, which were impacted by widespread lockdowns). The company highlights that the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas, Barcelona-El Prat Josep Tarradellas, Gran Canaria, Málaga-Costa del Sol, Tenerife Sur, Palma de Mallorca and Alicante-Elche airports are the main beneficiaries of this capacity increase. Lastly, the company’s communiqué mentions that the scheduling of seats is always subject to change by the airlines.Aena SME SA, formerly Aena SA, is a Spain-based company primarily engaged in the airports operation.
