AENA: +5.3% INCREASE IN AIRLINE CAPACITY FOR WINTER 2022-23 VS. 2019 (ANÁLISIS BANCO SABADELL)

AENA has just released the airlines’ capacity schedules for winter 2022-23, which shows a +5.3% increase vs. winter 2019-20 (adjusted for the last two weeks of March’20, which were impacted by widespread lockdowns). The company highlights that the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas, Barcelona-El Prat Josep Tarradellas, Gran Canaria, Málaga-Costa del Sol, Tenerife Sur, Palma de Mallorca and Alicante-Elche airports are the main beneficiaries of this capacity increase. Lastly, the company’s communiqué mentions that the scheduling of seats is always subject to change by the airlines.
