Semana de caídas en las bolsas (con la excepción del Ibex 35), tras unos mensajes hawkish de la Fed donde sus Actas anunciaron por un lado, el plan de reducción de balance que empezaría en mayo y, por otro, dejaron la puerta abierta a subir a un ritmo de 50 p.b. los tipos en la próxima reunión. En la eurozona, las actas del BCE sugerían el final de las compras de deuda en junio y subidas de tipos para el 4T’22. Así, el Ibex 35 concluyó con un rebote del +1,21% (avanzando por encima de los 8.600 puntos) mientras que el Dax retrocedió cerca del -1,3% y en el Euro STOXX 50 las caídas fueron ligeramente superiores al -1,7%. Los mejores sectores del Euro STOXX fueron Farmacia y Utilities mientras que Industria y Tecnología terminaron con el peor comportamiento relativo de la semana. Por el lado macro, el viernes sólo conocimos la producción industrial en España, que avanzó en febrero más de lo esperado. Desde la Fed, Mester se mostró optimista sobre la posibilidad de que EE.UU. entre en recesión a pesar del tensionamiento de las condiciones financieras a pesar de una inflación por encima del 2% el año que viene. Finalmente, en Francia, las elecciones presidenciales se saldaron con una ajustada victoria de Macron (27% de los votos) sobre Le Pen (24%), y ambos se disputarán la presidencia en la segunda vuelta el 24 de abril. En China los precios de producción de marzo repuntaron por encima de lo esperado.
Qué esperamos para hoy
Las bolsas europeas abrirían con ligeras caídas después de la mala sesión en Asia por nuevos cierres por Covid-19, con el precio del petróleo cayendo. En estos momentos, los futuros del S&P cotizan con caídas del -0,67%(el S&P 500 terminó el viernes con ligeras caídas de -0,2% respecto al nivel al que estaba al cierre de las bolsas europeas). La volatilidad en EE.UU. subió (VIX 21,1). Los mercados asiáticos cotizan con fuertes caídas (CSI 300 chino -2,7%, Nikkei de Japón -0,7%).
