Las bolsas europeas volvieron a avanzar posiciones, después de la buena recepción de las actas de la Fed (las tasas hipotecarias de EE.UU. registraron la mayor caída diaria en los últimos 2 años) y las mejores previsiones sobre las acciones de consumo (Macy’s, Ralph Lauren y Nordstrom, aunque GAP revisó guidance a la baja). Con todo lo anterior, en el Euro STOXX todos los sectores presentaron subidas lideradas por Retail y B. Consumo mientras que Utilities y Alimentación presentaron el peor comportamiento relativo. Por el lado macro, en EE.UU. la segunda lectura del PIB del 1T’22 empeoró el dato preliminar, por un mayor drenaje de la partida de inventarios. En cambio, el paro semanal se redujo más de lo esperado mientras que las ventas pendientes de viviendas se contrajeron durante abril más de lo previsto. En China los beneficios industriales de abril cayeron un -8,6% interanual frente al 12,2% de marzo. En Japón, la inflación de Tokio de mayo retuvo el 2,4% anual frente al 2,5% esperado. Por el lado geopolítico, EE.UU. y Europa se oponen al plan de Putin de permitir la salida de alimentos y fertilizantes de Ucrania si levantan las sanciones.
Qué esperamos para hoy
Las bolsas europeas cotizarían planas a la espera de los datos de consumo y deflactor en EE.UU. En estos momentos, los futuros del S&P cotizan con caídas del -0,1% (el S&P 500 terminó ayer con subidas del +0,2% con respecto al nivel al que estaba al cierre de las bolsas europeas). La volatilidad en EE.UU. bajó (VIX 27,50). Los mercados asiáticos cotizan con subidas (CSI 300 chino +0,8%, Nikkei de Japón +0,7%).
Hoy en España las ventas al por menor de abril. En la Eurozona la M3 de abril. En EE.UU. los inventarios mayoristas preliminares de abril y el ingreso y gasto personal de abril.
