IAG: CANCELS FINAL DIVIDEND’19 (ANÁLISIS BANCO SABADELL)

IAG has announced that it has cancelled the payment of the final dividend’19, which was scheduled for July, totalling € 0.17/sh. (~7.5% yield). Moreover, it has postponed the AGM (to be held in June) until September 2020.

This measure was expected, given the current context, and prevents €~330 M of cash outflow, at a time when the market is particularly focused on liquidity levels. In this regard, we recall that IAG has €~9.3 Bn of liquidity (€ 7.2 Bn of cash and another € 2.1 Bn in credit lines), as the company confirmed on Monday (after expanding the maturity of a credit line worth € 1.25 Bn until June 2021).
