Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals Co SAE (Sidpec) is an Egypt-based company engaged in the production and distribution of petrochemical products. The Company produces ethylene, polyethylene, butane and naphtha, among others. The Company's polymer portfolio includes linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE), which are used in different applications, including film, blow molding, roto molding and injection molding. The applications are used for production of shopping and grocery bags, heavy-duty sacks and agricultural film, pallets and boxes, among others. The Company has capacity to produce 300,000 tons of ethylene; 225,000 tons of polyethylene; 10,000 ton of butane-1, and 50,000 tons of butane annually. As of December 31, 2012, the Company's major shareholders included Egyptian Petrochemicals Holding Co. and Al-Ahli Capital Holding, among others.
