(or Thrace Group) was established in 1977 via Stavros Halioris in Xanthi and is active in the following areas through its subsidiaries: Technical Fabrics (Thrace Eurobent, Don & Low Ltd Scotland, Thrace Nonwovens & Geosynthetics S.A., Thrace Polybulk AS., Thrace Polybulk AB., Thrace Synthetic Packaging Ltd., Thrace Lumite Inc.), Packaging Solutions (Thrace Greiner Packaging SRL, Thrace Ipoma A.D., Thrace Plastics Packaging DOO, Thrace Plastics Pack S.A., Thrace Polyfilms S.A.) and other segments, such as geothermal greenhouses (Thrace Greenhouses). The Group is based in Greece, employs over 2,100 people and has active operations in 9 countries. In the Greek market, Thrace Group is one of the largest distributors of technical fabrics and packages with a sales network that expands in 80 countries.
