1Q results – the promise of RUP fulfilled

Tupras has reported its second strong set of results in a row, confirming that the company is now benefiting fully from: its USD 3bn upgrade, the buoyant refining margin environment and discounted heavy crude oils. Despite signs of weakness in the Turkish market, with falling demand for gasoline fuel oil and jet fuel, this is Tupras’ best first quarter EBITDA ever, eclipsing the full-year EBITDA in 2014.
