2Q17 – solid P&L trends, stronger capital
Alpha Bank has reported net profit of EUR 71m for 2Q17, vs. our estimate of EUR 56m, driven by better NII, fees and a lower cost of risk. We believe the results should please the market in view of the solid P&L trends, stronger capital ratios and the gradual drop in the cost of risk.Alpha Bank is a banking and financial services group which is based in Greece. Co. is engaged in offering a range of services including retail, SME and corporate banking, credit cards, asset management, investment banking, private banking, brokerage, leasing and factoring.
