Austriacard: ace of decks (BUY - initiation of coverage)
We initiate coverage of Austriacard (ACAG), which offers a complementary portfolio of products and services in Identity & Payment Solutions (smartcards, payments, IDs), Document Lifecycle Management (printing) and Digital Transformation Technologies for the financial, government, and general private sectors, with a BUY rating and a price target (PT) of EUR 7.5/share, implying 42% upside from the current levels. Thanks to the strong execution in the Middle East and Africa regions, and continuous inroads into the neobanks, and also due to benefiting from Greece’s relatively large RRF-funded IT projects, on our estimates, ACAG’s EBITDA and net earnings will post CAGRs of 7% and 13%, respectively, in the 2025-30E period, thus outpacing the top-line growth. Moreover, the stock is trading currently at very attractive levels, in our view, in both absolute (DCF) and relative (peer comps) terms.
