WOOD Flash – Ceska zbrojovka Group: conference call takeaways post the strong 1H21 results
Ceska zbrojovka Group (CZG) reported its unaudited 1H21 financials on 29 September, and hosted a conference call on the same day, with the participation of senior management. As this was the first time that CZG has started to fully consolidate the recently-acquired Colt Holding Company LLC (Colt) (pro rata from the late-May deal close), the reported numbers were not comparable on a yoy or qoq basis (CZG did not disclose separate 2Q21 KPIs or financials). On a yoy basis, the reported numbers were strong, due to organic growth, as well as five weeks of the consolidation impact of Colt, and this propelled the stock price to another historical high of CZK 592/share as of the 30 September close (up 17% in the past two days).
