WOOD Flash – Cyfrowy Polsat: updates its strategy and plans to invest PLN 5.5bn in clean energy in 2022-26E

Today (20 December 2021), Cyfrowy Polsat (CPS) published its new strategy and dividend policy, as well as announcing two M&A agreements. The company is to acquire Port Praski for PLN 800m and PAK-PCE for PLN 879m, which is about to be a platform for its further investment in the green energy business. In the years 2022-26E CPS, plans to invest approximately PLN 5bn in order to achieve c.1,000MW of clean power generation capacity, and approximately PLN 0.5bn on the construction of the value chain of an economy based on hydrogen. The company also plans to analyse additional development opportunities in other areas such as small modular reactors (SMR).
