DO & CO: on the menu – fair value (downgraded to HOLD)

We have downgraded DO & CO from Buy to HOLD, and set our new 12M price target (PT) at EUR 253/share. Since our initiation in April 2025, DO & CO’s stock price has rallied by 72% and is, currently, at an all-time-high, so we see a limited 8% upside from these levels. This is due mainly to: 1) an earnings growth normalisation (FY22-25 EBITDA and net profit CAGRs of 40% and 103% vs. FY25-28E CAGRs of 10% and 15%, respectively); and 2) a fair valuation as, on our FY26E, DO & CO is trading at 9.2x EV/EBITDA and 23.0x P/E, a 19% discount and a 12% premium, respectively, vs. its peers, and above its 5Y pre-pandemic average (8x EV/EBITDA and 20x P/E). With no large tenders ongoing currently, we see limited upside for our mid-term earnings growth after the stellar earnings cycle growth of the previous three years. As the expected 2024-27E peers’ median CAGRs for EBITDA and net profit are broadly in line with what we expect DO & CO to deliver over the next three years, we view DO & CO’s current valuation multiples as fair, with limited upside potential. Therefore, we have decided to close our Buy call on the stock.
