EME Macro/Strategy: macro all-in-one (16-22 October)

Last week, all eyes were on the Polish elections, which resulted in a substantial majority for the opposition coalition in both chambers of parliament, paving the way for a change in leadership in the coming weeks. Concurrently, in the Czech Republic, Prime Minister Fiala's coalition government withstood its third vote of no confidence. Likewise, in Georgia, the pro-EU President successfully survived an impeachment motion initiated by Parliament. Lastly, the most recent round of talks between Hungary and the EU Commission have failed to produce sufficient progress.
