WOOD Flash – EME Strategy: Polish pension reform – ECP bill draft

Yesterday, 15 February, Finance Minister Teresa Czerwinska, Labour Minister Elzbieta Rafalska and the head of the Polish Development Fund (PDF), Pawel Borys, presented the bill draft concerning the Employee Capital Programme (ECP). According to the government’s estimates, c.8.6m employees will join the scheme, which should generate annual fund flows of c.PLN 15-33bn, when the ECP becomes fully operational. The draft will now be sent for further consultation.
