Good year for SoC; margin seeing upside
​Novatek’s share price is falling, nearly to a 52-week low, which appears oversold to us (2.2x P/B with a ROE of over 20%). Admittedly, there are some headwinds, and the overall market is not seeing strong growth either. However, we disagree with bears that a “temporary†shift in customers’ allocations should be seen as a “market share loss,†as after all, Novtaek is still a technology and cost leader.
