International Personal Finance (IPF) has reported excellent H1/25 results, supported by low impairment charges and accelerated lending growth. Furthermore, the company announced that it is in advanced discussions with asset-based financing provider BasePoint Capital on a takeover of IPF, with the share price for a transaction at nearly 25% above the July 29th closing price. We maintain our "Hold" recommendation on the notes for now.
