Our trip to South Korea and China revealed Chinese shipbuilders are seeking growth to take on Korea’s established yards who are facing constraints. An eagerness to add capacity is one of our takeaways, as well as a gloomy outlook for Chinese real estate, which in our view should inevitably weigh on dry bulk demand.

Alimak reported a solid Q1, with strong margins in Industrial and Facade Access. Margins in Construction were on the weak side (following weak Q4 orders), but management seemed confident of a return to normal as soon as in Q2. We have raised our 2024–2026e adj. EBITA by 1–2%. We reiterate our HOLD, but have raised our target price to SEK102 (100).
We reiterate our BUY and have raised our target price to SEK120, following a >10% earnings beat in Q1. MTG gave a cautious revenue growth outlook for 2024 (+1-5% YOY) but with positive adj. EBITDA margin guidance (26–29%). It announced SEK100m of buybacks, with more likely to come following the AGM on 16 May. We have raised our 2024–2025e EBITDA by c3% and continue to like the MTG story, with market growth, good cost control and the ~SEK3bn net cash position.

We have lowered our 2024e sales and adj. EBITA by 1%, mainly on lower organic growth in Construction, and marginally revised our 2025–2026e ahead of the Q1 results (due at 08:00 CET on 25 April). We believe project delays within Facade Access continued to hamper divisional sales, and expect a recovery in H2. We reiterate our HOLD, but have raised our target price to SEK100 (94) on valuation.
We have raised our 2024–2026e clean EPS by c1% on average, following our reduced underlying assumptions but including recently completed M&A. We reiterate our BUY and EUR30 target price. For the Q1 report, we will focus on orders, profitability and the market outlook.

After reviewing oil companies’ most recent spending plans, we estimate offshore spending growth of c7% YOY for 2024, in line with our November update. Growth is concentrated, with Petrobras being the key driver, favouring service companies with Brazil exposure. Looking ahead, further spending growth is likely to be partly limited by total spending already being on a par with operating cash flow. Delayed energy transition spending is seen as positive for oil services, while recent E&P consolidati...
We reiterate our BUY and SEK110 target price ahead of the Q1 report (due at 07:30 CET on 24 April). We expect decent Q1 organic revenue growth of 4% YOY and a margin increase to drive adj. EBITDA growth of 37% YOY. Our impression is that Nascar Manager has had a decent release and we see potential for games to scale well in a more benign environment for advertising. The SEK3bn net cash position benefits the case and we see scope for additional buybacks in 2024.
PGS reported strong Q1 revenues of USD223m, primarily driven by stronger-than-expected contract revenues and late sales. A higher vessel allocation towards contract as opposed to MultiClient explained most of the deviation from our contract revenues, leaving implied dayrates broadly in line with expectations, mirroring a flattish sequential quarterly trend. Due to the contemplated merger with TGS scheduled to close in late-Q2, we continue to peg our PGS target price to our TGS target price and t...
Based on the strong intraday share price reaction (+9%), the Q1 late-sales beat appears to have been a relief to investors following the soft Q4. The share price is trading 5% higher than pre-Q4, despite consensus 2024–2025 EPS having come down 20–25%. Moreover, combined late-sales for Q4 and Q1 were c30–35% below initial consensus. We believe the strong share price reaction implies limited room for disappointments, as buy-side consensus appears higher for future earnings, leaving risk/reward ne...
