The company also introduced two new senior leaders joining the company’s executive team: Chief Marketing Officer Jonathan Martin and Chief Human Resources Officer Kristin Machacek Leary.

Hitachi Santa Clara Square houses Hitachi Vantara’s new global headquarters along with the regional headquarters of Hitachi America, Ltd. Leveraging Hitachi technology to support data, voice and video connections, the campus features the Hitachi Insight Center, a state-of-the-art executive briefing center, and Hitachi Global Center for Social Innovation, a lab serving as Hitachi’s global R&D headquarters for collaborative creation with strategic partners in industry and academia. Hitachi Vantara Welcomes New Leadership in 2019 To Support Customers’ Data-First Business Strategies

Jonathan Martin is CMO of Hitachi Vantara, bringing over 18 years of executive marketing experience from some of the industry’s top technology companies. Most recently, Martin served as CMO for Pure Storage, Dell EMC and HP Software and has held senior marketing positions at Salesforce and Veritas. As CMO, Martin will lead Hitachi Vantara’s worldwide marketing strategy, demand generation, digital and customer experience, brand and corporate communications, competitive and market intelligence, marketing operations and global learning teams.

Kristin Machacek Leary is CHRO of Hitachi Vantara, bringing more than 25 years of progressive leadership and human resources experience. Leary joins Hitachi Vantara from global cybersecurity leader Forcepoint where she served as vice president and CHRO. As a member of Forcepoint’s executive leadership team, Leary led the company’s HR organization and championed its global talent, culture and workforce development programs. Previously, Leary held HR leadership roles at Alphatec Spine, Quintiles, HP and Boston Scientific.
