Comcast Cares Day is more than just a day – it’s the culmination of Comcast NBCUniversal’s commitment to volunteerism that began when the company was founded more than 50 years ago. From using technology to create positive change, such as wiring community centers and libraries and teaching digital literacy skills, to mentoring youth, to beautifying parks, Comcast NBCUniversal employees volunteer on this day, and throughout the year, to make a lasting impact. This year, more than 100,000 volunteers participated in approximately 900 projects across the country and around the world. To date, volunteers have contributed nearly 5 million volunteer hours at 7,700 projects since Comcast Cares Day began in 2001.

Colorado projects included participation in the Great American Cleanup efforts to help with a variety of cleanup, trail restoration, and other outdoor projects at Bear Creek Regional Park in Colorado Springs to painting, grounds and garden projects, furniture and technology installation at Denver Housing Authority’s North Lincoln Opportunity Center.

“As we celebrate our 16th annual Comcast Cares Day, we are so proud to partner with these important organizations to give back in our community,” said Rich Jennings, Comcast senior vice president for the Mountain West Region. “It’s truly amazing what’s possible when thousands of volunteers donate their time to make a difference in the lives of others. I’m inspired by the community’s response to Comcast Cares Day, and am so thankful for the participants who help to make this effort a success today and throughout the year.”

Broadband cNPS comparisons by tech & operator - The latest data availa...

Scouring the data in this report, we’d point you to the appendix for a quick review. What stands out is that when a broadband customer interacts with a sales rep, presumably they are doing so with a problem or request that an automated or AI-driven IVR cannot address. Almost without fail, sales rep interactions are the Achilles heal of the market right now and likely a core reason, care scores suffer.
