Korn Ferry Futurestep Partners with Vodafone New Zealand to Transform Talent Acquisition

Vodafone New Zealand, a leading full service telecommunications company, with mobile and fixed networks, has appointed the Futurestep division of Korn Ferry (NYSE:KFY) as its Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) partner. The partnership sees Futurestep support talent acquisition for all of Vodafone New Zealand’s vital operational roles up to senior management.

Operating in a highly competitive market, Vodafone recognized its people to be a key differentiator and sought to review its recruitment function. The company had clear criteria, focusing on continuous improvement, better consulting, and the use of leading technology to deliver greater value. It was vital that any partner and its solution could deliver across a diverse set of roles and skillsets, fostering a strong pipeline of talent for the future.

“We are proud to be extending our global partnership with Vodafone Group here in New Zealand and excited about the opportunity to help the company attract the very best talent,” said Stephanie Edwards, Korn Ferry Futurestep managing director, RPO Australia and New Zealand. “Our RPO solution will deliver a proactive strategic sourcing function, robust hiring manager consulting and ultimately a more efficient talent acquisition function.”

By implementing Futurestep’s RPO platform, Vodafone New Zealand will benefit from leading technologies and methodologies that have been customized to meet the company’s specific requirements. The program offers a holistic view of recruitment, streamlining management and process, while driving higher quality outcomes.

“Futurestep was able to demonstrate deep market knowledge and creativity in attracting high quality talent, whether for our digital teams, high street retail outlets, technical or operational workers,” said Katie Williams, Vodafone New Zealand’s head of Human Resources Centre of Expertise. “Working alongside Futurestep to implement its RPO platform, we are excited to evolve our recruitment function to drive excellence in talent attraction and recruitment.”

Having provided an RPO solution to Vodafone Group in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region since 2015, the partnership with Vodafone in New Zealand represents an expansion of Futurestep’s global RPO relationships and the first solution to an operational business unit.

Monitoring for a Pullback We maintain our near-term bullish outlook on the S&P 500 (SPX), Nasdaq 100 (QQQ), and Russell 2000 (IWM), which has remained in place since 4/22/25, aside from one week (11/19/25-11/25/25) when we went to neutral.
