Korn Ferry Hits Pay Dirt: Firm Rolls Out New Tool That Embeds World Class Compensation Data Into Firm’s Flagship Executive Search Offering

Korn Ferry (NYSE:KFY), the preeminent global people and organizational advisory firm, today announced the launch of Executive Snapshot, an innovative new tool that brings work measurement and pay data into the firm’s world-leading Search offering. The new enhancement is one of the first integrated tools stemming from Korn Ferry’s combination with Hay Group.

The new tool incorporates more than 70 years of Korn Ferry Hay Group’s job grading, job description and salary benchmarking methodologies into each Korn Ferry Search engagement. Along with Korn Ferry’s Four Dimensional Executive Assessment, it will help organizations not only ensure they are choosing the right candidate, but also offering a competitive reward package based on the role’s unique level and requirements to ensure they attract and retain the best talent.

For each Search engagement, the Executive Snapshot report pulls salary data from Korn Ferry Hay Group’s PayNet – the world’s most comprehensive pay database that contains current reward data for more than 20 million employees in more than 110 counties, across 25,000 organizations. Additionally, the report provides job grading for each role using Hay Group’s job benchmarking methodology, which is the world’s most comprehensive and widely used job evaluation process.

“Big data and science are disrupting everything including who should be placed in the corner office,” said Michael Distefano, Senior VP & Chief Marketing Officer, President, Korn Ferry Institute. “Last year we added a cutting-edge assessment to our search process and now we are thrilled to offer compensation and job measurement data. Executive Snapshot provides rich insight into the real-time compensation landscape and level of candidate required for each role. Now our clients can look at different levels and compensation requirements as they ultimately determine the person best for the role.”
