Torrey Foster Joins Korn Ferry as Vice Chairman

Korn Ferry (NYSE:KFY), the preeminent global people and organizational advisory firm, today announced that Torrey Foster has joined the firm as Vice Chairman in the Global Consumer Practice in Korn Ferry’s Chicago office.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, while serving at a global recruiting firm, Mr. Foster held several senior level positions, including Region Leader for the Americas, Global Managing Partner for the Consumer Markets practice, Global Sector Leader for Consumer Products, Managing Partner U.S. Central Region, and Partner-in-Charge of the Chicago office. Prior to that he led the firm’s Consumer private equity team, serving the portfolio company management needs of private equity and venture capital investors.

“Torrey brings to Korn Ferry an extraordinary level of recruiting and leadership advisory experience, as well as long standing client relationships. For more than two decades he has worked closely with clients in the consumer sector, with a particular focus on packaged goods, food and beverage, health and personal care products, branded durable goods, and general merchandise,” said Bernard Zen-Ruffinen, President, EMEA, Chair, Global Industrial & Consumer Markets.

Previously, as Managing Director, for a boutique search firm Mr. Foster served the leadership needs of private equity investors and their portfolio companies. He began his career as a marketing executive with The Quaker Oats Company in Chicago.

Mr. Foster is a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy and holds a Bachelor’s degree in history from Brown University and a master’s degree in management from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
