Opus Bank and the Thompson Family Partner to Launch Thompson Family Foundation

Opus Bank (“Opus”) (NASDAQ: OPB) and the Thompson Family announced today the launch of The Thompson Family Foundation, www.thompsonfamily.foundation a non-profit organization aimed at helping those in need in inner cities including Los Angeles, Oakland and internationally in father Mychal Thompson’s hometown of Nassau, Bahamas. The foundation will have the support of all five members of the Thompson Family including parents Mychal and Julie along with their three children, Klay, Trayce and Mychel.

As a part of their announcement, Opus Bank produced a content video with the family titled, “Solid Foundation.” In the video, the bank visited with all five members of the Thompson Family to discuss why philanthropy is important to them, what they hope to accomplish together by forming this great non-profit organization and how they plan to affect the local communities in their respective home cities.
