First Trust Announces Name Changes for Various Index ETFs

First Trust Advisors L.P. (“First Trust”) announced today that eight First Trust Index ETFs listed below are changing their names. Each Fund seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield, before such Fund’s fees and expenses, of an equity index (“Index”). The Indexes that the Funds track are not changing names and the Indexes are not changing. We anticipate that the changes will be effective on each Funds’ respective exchange when the exchanges open on Wednesday, December 14, 2016. The Funds’ ticker symbols and CUSIPS are not changing.
