AT&T Inc. Announces Filing of a Registration Statement for Potential IPO of Minority Stake in DIRECTV Latin America

AT&T Inc.* (NYSE: T) today announced the filing of a registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for a potential initial public offering (IPO) of a minority interest in the Class A common stock of Vrio Corp., a holding company for its Latin American digital entertainment services unit, DIRECTV Latin America.

A registration statement on Form S-1 relating to these securities has been filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission but has not yet become effective. These securities may not be sold, nor may offers to buy be accepted, prior to the time the registration statement becomes effective.
