Changing our Fed call: Solid growth and stable data to keep Fed on hold for now
The combination of resilient growth, stable inflation and labor data, and the Fed’s shifting reaction function has led us to change our forecast for the Fed’s policy rate this year. Previously, we had expected three cuts, but we now believe the Fed will cut twice this year, once in June and once in September.
