NSR Policy: White House Clarifies Energy EO Doesn’t Apply to BEAD
This morning, we put out a note that addressed the question of whether the BEAD program has dodged the bullet of dramatic change, by discussing the context for the Executive Orders (EOs) that have been done, a potential appointment that could tell us a lot about the direction Trump will take the BEAD program and what change in particular that the likely nominee has already signaled that is the most investor relevant variable in moving funds from fiber deployment to fixed wireless and satellite broadband, and the odd language of an adjacent EO that may also be an indicator of things to come.
