Metro is a holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Co. is engaged in retail and wholesale. Co.'s operations are divided into four divisions: Metro Cash & Carry, Real, Media-Saturn and Galeria Kaufhof. The Metro Cash & Carry division operates in the cash and carry sector in Europe, Asia and Africa. The Real division is a hypermarket operator in Germany where it operates both stationary stores and an online store. Co.'s automotive divisions comprised of: Chassis & Safety, which develops and produces systems that provide safety and enhanced vehicle dynamics; Powertrain, which develops solutions for gasoline and diesel engines, as well as hybrid and electrical drive systems; and Interior, which provides solutions for information management within vehicles and networking between vehicles. Co.'s rubber divisions comprised of: Tires, which provides tires for passenger cars through trucks, buses and construction site vehicles to special vehicles, motorcycles and bicycles; and ContiTech, which develops products made from rubber and plastic.

Eutelsat Communications is a private telecommunications satellite operator involved in the design, establishment, operation and maintenance of satellite telecommunications systems covering a large geographical area (extended Europe (including North Africa and the Middle East), sub-Saharan Africa, parts of America and Asia). Co. provides its customers broadcasting capacity and associated services to transmit TV programmes via satellite, cable or Internet Protocol (IP) networks. As of June 30, 2013, Co. owned and operated 31 satellites in geostationary orbit and 4 satellites in inclined orbit.

Fnac Darty is engaged in the leisure and entertainment, technology, and household appliances retail market in France and a player on markets in other countries where it operates such as Spain, Portugal, Belgium, the Netherlands and Switzerland. Fnac Darty also has franchise operations in Morocco, Qatar and Ivory Coast.

Grifols is engaged in developing, manufacturing and distributing a range of plasma derivative products. Plasma derivatives are proteins found in human plasma, which once isolated and purified, have therapeutic value. These protein-based therapies extend the lives of individuals who suffer from chronic and acute conditions. Co. also specializes in providing infusion solutions, nutrition products, medical devices, diagnostic instrumentation and reagents for use in hospitals and clinics. Co.'s products and services are used by healthcare providers in approximately 100 countries. Co.'s business is organized into three divisions: Bioscience, Diagnostic, Hospital and Raw Materials.

Compagnie Plastic Omnium is a manufacturing and services company which partners with car manufacturers and local communities, through its two core businesses which are Automotive Equipment and Environment. Co.'s activities can be divided into two divisions: the Automotive division and the Environment division. The Automotive division designs, manufactures and sells vehicle body parts (exterior parts and modules) and plastic fuel systems. The Environment division provides products and services for local authorities, including waste pre-collection and management equipment and services, and road and highway signage.

Seche Environnement offers environmental management solutions for industrial clients or local authorities. Co. operates waste treatment and recovery facilities and develops tools to produce energy from waste. Co. also collects and sorts all types of waste, whether household or industrial, hazardous or non-hazardous. For local authorities, Co. manages household waste and other environmental concerns. Co. is engaged in thermal treatment, storage, methanization of household waste and production of alternative fuels. For industrial clients, Co. has developed products and services for handling industrial waste from waste production sites to elimination facilities.

Telecom Italia is a telecommunications group based in Italy. Co. is engaged in the communications sector and, particularly, the fixed and mobile national and international telecommunications sector, the television sector and the office products sector. Co. operates mainly in Europe, South America and the Mediterranean Basin. Co.'s operations are organized along two operating segments: Domestic - Italy (providing telephone and data services on fixed-line and mobile networks for final customers (retail) and other operators (wholesale)); and Brazil (operates in the mobile phone, fixed telephony, in long-distance and data transmission markets in Brazil).

Volkswagen the parent company of the Volkswagen Group.
