PSA Media & Entertainment: Video Game Industry 2025 Outlook

PSA Media & Entertainment: Video Game Industry 2025 Outlook

2025 looks to be a very exciting year for the video games industry in general but especially for the Japanese part of it. On the hardware side, you have the replacement for the Switch, but it will also be interesting to see if the PS5 Pro proves to be more than just a top-of-the-range niche product. However, there is at least as much happening on the software side – arguably more – as most major players have multiple AAA titles to showcase. However, in several cases there is as much chance of a misstep as there is of a success. Please see attached report by analyst Pelham Smithers for details.
