Int'l Equity StrategyWe remain near-term bullish since our 4/22/25 Compass, when we discussed that 5110-5120 on the S&P 500 (SPX) was a bounce spot and a level to trade [long] against. We have been trying to play the role of short-term trader, all while keeping an eye on intermediate-term trends (discussed support/bottom in 4/8/25 Compass, expected the rally to fizzle in our 4/15/25 Compass, and then discussed a likely bounce in our 4/22/25 Compass, with Int'l Compass reports all echoing this sentiment). We have discussed for weeks how we believe it is important to get involved at short-term turning points, so as not to get left behind should a major bottom develop. To that end, we continue to believe it is possible that major lows are in at 4800-4820 on SPX and $402-$412 on the Nasdaq 100 (QQQ), as discussed in our 4/10/25 Int'l Compass.
