Cloud keynote focuses on hybrid, GSuite & AI

Google's cloud conference keynote didn't bring anything that is likely to lead to a reassessment of the company's competitive position, but there were number of announcements showing how the company's offering continues to mature and become 'enterprise ready'. Given the scale of the public cloud opportunity, there should be plenty of growth potential for the business without meaningfully impacting AWS/Azure's trajectory, but it is unclear whether it will be able to sufficiently close the gap with the two leaders to be able to earn a reasonable margin in a segment where scale clearly matters.
