Doubling down on connecting people

Facebook announced a range of new features at its developers' conference, with the majority seemingly targeted at expanding time spent on the platform while also contributing to the company's mission of connecting people. While monetisation of many of these features is not immediately obvious, we are positive on the updates as maintaining and growing engagement is key to the longer-term health of the broader business.
