CAPT: High-Grade Silver Results Continue; Lots More to Come
What you need to know:
• Capitan announced high-grade assay results for six holes at the Cruz de Plata silver-gold project in Durango, Mexico.
• All six holes extended silver mineralization with several holes intersecting high-grade, including Hole-26 intersecting 1,767.4 g/t AgEq over 1.5m
• The Company is nearing completion of 10,000m of the 15,000m program with assays pending for 25 holes.
• Silver Tiger (SLVR:TSXV) received all required permits to construct the open-pit phase of its El Tigre silver-gold project, bringing positive sentiment towards the permitting landscape in Mexico.
This morning, Capitan Silver (CAPT:TSXV) announced high-grade assay results at its Cruz de Plata silver-gold project in Durango, Mexico. This is part of its recently expanded (to 15,000m) fully funded Phase 1 RC drill program. The Company reported results from six drill holes, with drilling confirming the emergence of a new large, high-grade silver zone at Jesus Maria. All holes in today’s release extended mineralization with confirmed continuity on the Western side of Jesus Maria extending 1.7km. We expect a news-heavy end of Q4 and Q1/26. We are maintaining our BUY rating and $2.40/share target price on Capitan Silver.
Highlights from Today’s Release Include:
• Hole 25-ERRC-26 (Upper Zone): 155.9 g/t AgEq over 6.1m, including 612.9 g/t AgEq over 1.5m
• Hole 25-ERRC-26 (Lower Zone): 1,222.1 g/t AgEq over 3.0m, including 1,767.4 g/t AgEq over 1.5m
• Hole 25-ERRC-21 (Upper Zone): 292.4 g/t AgEq over 6.1m, including 710.5 g/t AgEq over 1.5m and 353.2 g/t AgEq over 1.5m.
• Hole 25-ERRC-21 (Lower Zone): 74.9 g/t AgEq over 35.1m, including 260 g/t AgEq over 1.5m.
• Hole 25-ERRC-25: 250.3 g/t AgEq over 6.1m, including 687.4 g/t AgEq over 1.5m.
CAPT is nearing completion of 10,000m of the 15,000m drill program, and assays are pending on 25 RC drill holes. We expect consistent news flow throughout the rest of the fall and into the new year, including assay results, the updated Mineral Resource Estimate on Capitan Hill and the property-wide geophysical survey, as mentioned in our last research note.
