TURK TELEKOM 4Q18 Earnings: Robust set of results; bottom line recovered by FX gainsTurk Telekom posted TL2,215m NI in 4Q18 was 7% higher than cons and supported by FX gains and robust operational margins,. Excluding FX & FX Hedging impacts, net income was TL856m in 4Q18 (+35% y/y). We calculate EBITDA at TL2,232mn vs cons of TL2,144m at 41.3% margin. Even adjusted for IFRS 15, EBITDA margin was strong at 37.8% in 4Q18, 6% above 4Q17. Y/y comparison of margins not meaningful due to IFRS 15 impact. Revenues of TL5.4bn indicate 12% y/y growth, and in-line. Results are slightly positive on shares today but TL's ongoing recovery is a positive for 2019 bottom-line and net debt going.
