Comcast Promotes Sena Fitzmaurice to Senior Vice President, Government Communications

Comcast Corporation announced it has promoted Sena Fitzmaurice to Senior Vice President, Government Communications. Ms. Fitzmaurice leads Comcast’s communications on government affairs, including strategy on all federal regulatory and legislative as well as other political issues. She will continue to report to D’Arcy Rudnay, Executive Vice President and Chief Communications Officer for Comcast Corporation, and work closely with the entire government and regulatory affairs team in Washington.

Since joining Comcast in 2006, Ms. Fitzmaurice has led the strategy and execution of the company’s government communications through mergers and acquisitions, including the Comcast NBCUniversal transaction, as well as major legislative actions and regulatory events. Prior to joining Comcast, she was a principal with the lobbying firm Wexler & Walker Public Policy Associates in Washington, D.C., where she developed public affairs plans for her clients.

Ms. Fitzmaurice graduated summa cum laude from American University with a bachelor’s degree in international relations.
