AEG Names Frontier Communications an Official Partner of the LA Kings and Founding Partner of StubHub Center

AEG, the world’s leading sports and live entertainment company, has announced that Frontier Communications, a Fortune 500 company and a leader in providing communication services to urban, suburban and rural communities in 29 states, will be an official partner of the LA Kings and a founding partner of the StubHub Center. The multiyear partnership, brokered by AEG Global Partnerships, includes premium venue signage at StubHub Center as well as brand-tailored activations throughout the NHL season. It also expands Frontier’s strategic brand-building initiatives to AEG’s premier Southern California sports and entertainment venues and deepens Frontier’s community and business ties within the Los Angeles area market.

“AEG is proud to join with Frontier Communications,” said Josh Veilleux, LA Kings vice president of corporate partnerships. “This partnership will enhance the Kings’ ability to create even more memorable experiences for our fans.”

Through year-round marketing activities, AEG and Frontier will work together to engage customers and fans with special events and opportunities. Sponsorship activities will include fan experiences at NHL games, exclusive customer events, themed activations, product and services sweepstakes, product demonstrations and other unique fan-focused opportunities for Frontier customers.

“We are thrilled to be a sponsor and community partner of the Kings and StubHub Center,” said Joe Gamble, Frontier senior vice president of customer operations. “Our partnership with the LA Kings and StubHub Center helps further strengthen our ties to Southern California customers and the business community.”

“Frontier’s vision and commitment to their customers and the community at large clearly aligns with our vision, making this partnership a natural fit,” said Robert Vartan, senior director, Global Partnerships at AEG.

Frontier’s alignment with a world-class facility such as StubHub Center will raise brand awareness for the company among a passionate and growing group of sports fans. As a Founding Partner of StubHub Center, Frontier will receive a variety of signage and branding throughout the property, along with rotational exposure of the facility’s 405 Freeway marquee where other Founding Partners are recognized. Additionally, Frontier and StubHub Center will introduce unique and entertaining opportunities for fans and guests of the venue.

FYBR: Cash flow in steady state

Frontier management has set targets for EBITDA of $4BN and operating FCF of $3BN on a footprint with 10MM fiber locations, in steady state. We built a simple model to vet this outcome. FYBR: updating capex and funding through 2026

The Company’s new Capex disclosure provides a clear map for cash capex for the fiber project for the remainder of the 10MM location plan, which will take them into 2026. Stronger confidence in the capex trajectory for the next three years lends confidence to the FCF trajectory and funding requirements (we have eliminated a variable). This should make it easier for investors on the sidelines to underwrite the investment case.
